Abney Park Cemetery, one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries, was established in the mid-1800s to lessen the dangerous overcrowding of London's parish graveyards.
Today it acts as a unique heritage site, nature reserve and cultural venue cherished by Hackney's local community.
With support from Historic England's Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund, Abney Park Cemetery has been able to cover costs such as staff wages and purchase equipment that has allowed them to produce innovative digital content for audiences to enjoy during the 2020 lockdown.
