The Full Moon of September is known as the Corn Moon, unless it occurs closer to the Fall Equinox (September 21st), then it's considered to be a Harvest Moon.
This month's Full Moon in Pisces falls on September 20. It is a “Harvest Moon” due to the historical helpfulness of its light in bringing in the crop.
During this time of diminishing daylight hours, the full moon was a wonderful ally before farmers had the illumination of tractor lights.
