Two of prominent Lingayat seers from karnataka have extended support to Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa. Some of the seers also met the Chief Minister earlier in the day. The meeting comes at times when speculations are rife that the BJP high command might replace the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
