At Csir in Pretoria experts constructing radio equipment, miniaturized transmitter to study behaviour of wild animals. Animals are immobilised by projectile syringe after which transmitter is fitted around neck on a collar. The drug is not harmful and takes effect within 15 mins, recovery being swift & complete. Scientists are now ready to receive signals from the antenae on the back of vehicle and investigation into the habits of animals can now proceed. SCENES: Lion cubs. Lion walking in grass.
