A very refreshing and flavoursome cooler to kick-start your summers!
TURMERIC GINGER MOJITO
Ingredients
¼ tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder
1 inch ginger
½ cup sugar
½ lemon
25-30 mint leaves
Ice cubes as required
Drinking soda as required
Mint sprigs for garnish
Method
1. To make sugar syrup, take sugar syrup in pan. Add ½ cup water, Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and mix well.
2. Grate ½ inch ginger in the pan and allow to boil. Strain the syrup and set aside to cool. .
3. Cut the lemon into wedges and cut further into quarters. Cut the remaining ginger into thin strips.
4. Put a few lemon pieces in a serving glass, top up with some mint leaves and muddle.
5. Place some ice cubes and pour some of the prepared syrup. Place some ginger strips.
6. Top up with soda, garnish with mint sprig and serve chilled.
