This recipe of Eggnog is guaranteed to be the best you will ever try. It’s super simple, it’s creamy, thick not to mention tasty 👅
**Ingredients** (serves 4-6)
6 Egg Yokes
1 cup whole milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream (or half & half)
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/4 cup Rum/ whisky / bourbon or vodka (optional)
**Directions:
1. In a large bowl whisk egg yolks and sugar until light, thick and fluffy. Set aside.
2. In a saucepan, combine whole milk
and evaporated milk, salt, cinnamon. Bring to a simmer.
3. Temper the eggs by slowly adding the hot milk mixture into the eggs, whisking constantly while pouring the hot milk mixture.
4. Pour the mixture back into the saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently with a wooden spoon until the mixture begins to thicken slightly. Then turn the heat off.
5. Pour heavy cream into a bowl along with vanilla essence and whisk until becomes a bit fluffy.
Combine hot egg mixture with heavy cream and mix well, along with freshly grated nutmeg, and alcohol.
Put to chill or over an ice bath
Serve over Ice and enjoy!
