US tech company Microsoft has warned that China may interfere in upcoming elections in countries like India, South Korea and the United States. Microsoft has said that China will, at minimum, use artificial intelligence to sow division and peddle propaganda during the election cycle. Previously, American intelligence reports had also accused China of the same. Beijing is reportedly using its large army of hackers to create AI anchors and memes to peddle fake news about politicians and policies.
