The eighties served as the golden age for low-budget slasher flicks which have managed to gain a cult following over the years. An indie crop of directors created many movies that came out during this period with little to no budget. But the work they produced despite their inconvenience is remarkable. The subject of today's conversation is Danny Steinmann's American psychological horror flick from 1980 named The Unseen. The plot centers around a murdering man-baby who plays an amusing sleazy in the film. The film was released in Japan and Denmark in the latter half of 1980, with Northal films releasing it in the United States in September 1981 to mixed reviews.
