1/2 kg (500 grams) pasta noodles
generous amount of salt
1 pot boiling water
for pesto sauce:
olive oil
5 cloves of garlic minced
1 can or bottled sundried pesto sauce or plain pesto sauce
1/4 cup water or pasta water
