All the Ladder Lifts I saw on YouTube were too labor intensive and so I designed my own with stuff I had around the house. It took about 90 minutes to make. I was fortunate to have a 110v winch laying around but noticed that Harbor Freight has one with a discount for $135. You may think that is too much to spend and would settle for rooftop delivery but I saved $480 by doing it myself. It's worth it to me. And you can sell the winch after you're finished for half of what you bought it and you'll still come out way ahead.
