Tu B'shvat is a lovely and honestly adorable holiday where we say "Happy Birthday" to trees. Unfortunately....this is just one of so many traditions Israeli state thoroughly defiles in order to oppress and enact genocide onto Palestinians. The more we look at Jewish thought around trees, the more we can see just how flagrantly the Israeli state defies and breaks laws around what our traditions hold the most dear.
