We take you to 3 places within 30 minutes drive of Caleta de Fuste. If you want to escape the resort and see some local areas then you can't go wrong with a visit to the coastal town of Gran Tarajal. It has a lovely promenade along the beach with a few cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from.There is also a harbour area with the possibility of taking a boat trip to see dolphins with Ocean's Emotion (search Facebook to send them a booking query). We then visit Las Playitas which has all the charm of a small village in one bay and the surprise of Las Playitas resort in another. Famous for its sporting facilities, athletes from around the world visit Las Playitas to combine training with a holiday. Its open to non-guests too and more information can be found on their website. Finally, we take you to Pozo Negro. The smallest of the 3 locations with a pebble beach and a fantastic local restaurant. You'll be back in Caleta de Fuste in time for sunset.
