Baltimore City Public Schools is using the summer months to update records for their students. Officials said it's more important than it sounds. At the Office of Enrollment, Choice and Transfers, staff members are preparing for an influx of students. Some are registering, while others are applying for transfers. "You just think about all of the families within Baltimore City and outside of our district who will be coming in with new enrollments from out of state, from out of county and then the transfers within the district," said enrollment employee Valerie Barnes-Hill.
