Scotscalder Station is located on the Scottish Railway line between Inverness and Wick the station is operated by Scotrail.

The Station sees a very infrequent services, with trains heading either towards Wick or Inverness, with some services terminating at other stops including Lairg

Services on the line are operated using Class 158's which are all set to be replaced by brand new Diesel Multiple Units from 2027 these still in the design stage at the time of filming.
