Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared Wednesday "anti-black money day" to mark one year since the government withdrew most of the country's currency out of circulation. The measure was aimed to combat graft and the use of counterfeit currency.
However, some say the move was a failure since unemployment has risen and corruption remains rampant.
