Thank you for choosing PUR! Our patented and certified water filtration systems will transform your tap water into cleaner, fresh-tasting drinking water. Follow these quick and easy steps to install your PUR faucet filtration system:

1. First, open your PUR package to find: the PUR device, filter cartridge, three faucet adapters including washers, and your PUR owner’s manual.

2. Twist the back cover off & Insert the filter into the device (Don't worry, the filter will fit loosely.)

3. Remove your original aerator and its washer. Use a rubber jar opener if aerator is difficult to remove.

4. Try attaching the device by itself. You may not need an adapter. If the device does not fit your faucet use one of the supplied adapters. When mounting the PUR device to the faucet, it must be level to ensure a proper seal.

External Threaded Faucets - If the device does not fit, attach adapter 1. Finger-tighten the adapter and washer to your faucet.
Internal Threaded Faucets - Attach adapter 2. If adapter 2 does not fit, try adapter 3. Finger-tighten the adapter and washer to your faucet.

5. Turn down the lever for filtered water. Before first use, run cold water for 5 minutes in filtered position.
