Dr Sonia Falconieri from Bayes Business School has explored the need and benefits of having more gender balanced boards in the world of corporate finance.

Her study on gender balance initiatives and their impact shows that progress has been made in the UK following the introduction of regulatory measures. The tracking of companies has been introduced although organisations still prefer to not impose quotas on the number of women at board level.
