"What do you do? What's your story?" Many of us find it hard to answer these broad questions in a simple, succinct way—especially when we take on multiple projects and roles. Turns out, when we ask children to explain what we do, they can sometimes simplify it in the best way. When my husband asked my son, "What does Mom do?," he said, "Mom writes and speaks and advocates for more women to have power. " I couldn't have said it better myself. Remember, if it's hard to explain, ask a child for help.
