Many people don't like that it takes between 3-4 quail eggs to equal a chicken egg.
However, even though quail eggs are smaller than chicken eggs, they contain more protein by volume than a chicken egg.
Quail eggs are also more nutrient dense than chickens eggs and aren't known to carry salmonella.
Quail also take up less space and eat less than chickens do. But the best benefit to raising quail is that many HOAs and apartment complexes that don't allow chickens will allow quail. (Check your local ordinances)
