A brief look at the Sturgeon Rearing Trailer located on the West Branch of the Ontonagon River.

The Ontonagon River System Flows into Lake Superior and historically contained Sturgeon. Over fishing and habitat destruction caused the rivers population to go extinct.

Since 2011, a shared effort has been made by several agencies to establish a spawning population of Sturgeon in this watershed.
