Important ⚠️
If your map is pixelated/low resolution on zooming - increase the canvas size to 3840 x 2160k pixels or above - whatever your image resolution is! Mine of 1920 x 1080 was just an example.

This is because gimp is raster (pixels) as opposed to a vector software like inkscape.
