I have to say, that while a lot of people praise Sony equipment very highly, the Pioneer is the clear winner here. Not only is the speed much better (not necessarily a fault of the Sony), but the sound from the Pioneer is also cleaner and "fuller"; the Sony seems extremely loud and bass-heavy in comparison.
