Welcome to ABA exam review for our behavior analyst review and bcba® study prep. Today we are reviewing the BCBA® task list. Today we continue concepts and principles with B7 Define and provide examples of automatic and socially mediated contingencies. Contingencies are if-then statements that establish opportunities for reinforcement. Automatic contingencies occur when reinforcement is delivered with no social help or when someone is "alone". Socially mediated contingencies occur when reinforcement is delivered by another person, or a social party.
