The rapper came under fire after saying he had 'never dealt with racism' in an interview on Fox Sports 1 last month, citing evidence that he had a lot of white fans. Lil Wayne has now revealed it was a white cop who had helped him when he shot himself in the chest years ago. The rapper said all the officers who stepped over his body while 'looking for drugs and guns' were black. But a white officer, known as 'Uncle Bob', took him to the hospital and waited until the doctor said he would be okay. 'My life was saved by a white man,' Lil Wayne explained. 'I don't know racism'.
