Ingredients
Sabudana / Sago - 1 Cup
Potato - 1 No. Chopped
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Tsp
Roasted Peanuts - 3 Tbsp
Green Chili - 2 Nos Chopped
Juice Of 1/2 Lemon
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Water - 1 Cup
Oil - 2 Tbsp
Salt - 1 Tsp
Method:
1. Soak 1 cup of sabudana in 1 cup of water for about 4 hours
2. After about 4 hours, strain the sabudana to remove any excess water, and keep it aside.
3. Heat a pan and add some oil
4.Add cumin seeds and roast them, add chopped potatoes and fry them well
5. After they have turned to a golden brown color, add salt, roasted peanuts and fry them well
6. Add green chilies, curry leaves and mix well
7. Add the soaked sabudana and mix well
8. Once most of the sabudana pearls turn translucent, add lemon juice and coriander leaves and mix well
9. Serve the Sabudana Khchidi hot with some curd.
