Brent takes us through the latest upgrades on Rob’s 79 Series Land Cruiser, equipped with a JMACX 4495kg GVM upgrade and a 300mm chassis extension. Rob’s 79 is shaping up to be the ultimate off-road rig, built to handle serious adventures. Brent dives into the details of this dual cab beast, highlighting why the Landcruiser is a top choice for heavy-duty off roading and towing compared to than other popular 4WD utes like the Ford Ranger and Toyota HiLux.

The JMACX 4495 kg Super Chassis upgrade gives this 70 Series LandCruiser the strength to tackle any terrain, featuring a brake booster to manage the added weight. A Safari ARMAX ECU and snorkel combo under the bonnet boost performance, while heavy-duty accessories like the clutch, Pre-Line fuel kit, and ProVent oil separator ensure the engine stays protected during those rugged 4x4 adventures. With a sealed alternator featuring cooling lines, Rob’s ride is ready to power through whatever comes its way. Inside, this 79 Series gets a tech makeover with a Kenwood 10.1” head unit, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paired with upgraded Focal speakers for a premium sound setup. Brent also showcases the full chrome delete on handles, locks, and trim, giving this Land Cruiser a stealthy, aggressive look. And with a temporary tray in place while waiting for the Boss Aluminum tray and canopy, Rob’s setup remains functional for work and play.
