On September 16, 2020, the Susan G. Komen San Diego team hosted a live Zoom event to officially kickoff our first-ever Virtual Race for the Cure. During the call, we provided exciting updates on the new virtual event format and shared our best tips and tricks for creating a successful Race fundraiser.


Aside from Susan G. Komen's well-known research and advocacy efforts, funds raised through the Race for the Cure helps to fund critical support for breast cancer patients and their families, including copays, rent/mortgage assistance, transportation, medical equipment, care coordination, and food assistance.
