Join us on an epic journey through India’s Northernmost Region as we explore the hidden gems of North Ladakh and the Nubra Valley till Siachen Base Camp & Thang village along LOC. At the end of this journey I made an important realization. This adventure takes us along India's Northernmost Roads, lying between the towering Karakoram mountain range to the north and the Ladakh range to the south, reaching the very Northernmost Point of India following the ancient silk route and exploring their mapping skills.

We begin our journey from Leh, crossing the breathtaking Warila Pass amid heavy snowfall, a pass like no other in India. Our first stop is the westernmost of the three roads that leads us to Diskit, the headquarters of Nubra Valley, then to the famous Hunder sand dunes, home to the unique Bactrian camels. Our journey continues through the villages of Thoise, Skuru, and Bogdang, which once marked the end of the Line of Control (LOC) between India and Pakistan before 1971.

Venturing deeper, we cross into Baltistan, visiting four villages integrated into India after the 1971 war, and reach Thang, the last Indian village right at the LOC with Pakistan. Experience the beauty of Turuk village and the historical significance of the Siachen Base Camp Road, a part of the ancient Silk Route network.

Along the way, we explore Sumur village, the serene Samstaling Monastery, Col Rinchen House, and the impressive Buddha statue that overlooks the region. Discover the forgotten treasures of Zamskhang Palace, Charasa Fort, Ensa Monastery, and the sacred Yarab Tso Lake. Don’t miss the rejuvenating Panamik Hot Springs and the remote villages of Sasoma and Warshi which India's Northernmost Village, including Yarma Gonbo Monastery, India's northernmost monastery.
