Kojagari Lakshmi Puja is celebrated on Sharad Purnima, which is the full moon day of the Ashwin calendar month also called Ashwin Purnima. In many sections of the country, this form of worship holds a special significance. The date for Kojagari Puja 2024 is Wednesday, Oct 16. Kojagari Vrat is sometimes referred to as Kaumudi Vrat in some states.
Kumartuli is a traditional potter's quarter in northern Kolkata, West Bengal. The city is renowned for its sculpting prowess, which not only manufactures clay idols for various festivals but also regularly exports them.
