Combine our Cedar Ridge Iowa Straight Bourbon and our Cedar Ridge The QuintEssential American Single Malt, with lemon juice and ginger syrup for a delicious Bourbon Penicillin cocktail.
Ginger syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cups water
6 oz fresh ginger
Chop up the fresh ginger and then blend it in a food processor. Combine sugar, water, and pureed ginger in a pan on the stove. Bring it to a boil and stir occasionally. Pour everything through a strainer to get out any pieces of ginger. Let it cool and it is ready to use.
