Yamato "Yamita" Furuya runs one of the few truly authentic taco spots in Japan. After living in Mexico for three years and coming back to Japan, he saw a need and he filled it, all for the love of the food that we all love - tacos.

I met Yamato when I first started frequenting Tacos 3 Hermanos as a popup, which is where we decided to make something together. Beyond just an interesting subject, he quickly became someone I'm happy to call my friend. A genuine guy with a great outlook on life that I could talk with for hours.

So, if you're in Tokyo and suddenly find yourself wanting a break from all the incredible Japanese food you have at your disposal, stop by Yamato's shop for some of the best tacos you'll have outside of Mexico itself.
