If you have gained root access to your Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro then installing the new OTA update could prove to be a challenge. Remember, we needed to disable VERITY and VERIFICATION when using Magisk and installing that new OTA update will enable them again.
That is, unless you install the new security update in a very specific way.

In this video I show you the entire step by step process for how to update your Pixel 6 while rooted and how to keep all of your personal data intact during the process.
As of right now, this update does break root Magisk. But the developers behind the app have already begun working on a new update to the Magisk app.

4. Move files to the ADB/Fastboot folder
5. Remove -w flag [04:34]
6. Remove vbmeta.img file [05:32]
