One of my most popular videos is the how to consult faster video - let’s be honest, being able to consult fast whilst providing good quality care is one of the best ways to prevent burnout - and one of the last tips is using IT shortcuts. So why don’t I share with you 3 tips on prescribing in best practice, but I’m sure other clinical system will have similar setups.

1. Save dose as default for this preparations - and then using shortcuts alt + N then alt + O, then alt +N and then alt + F
2. Check compliance - especially relevant for drugs of dependence, see video about how to use script check, important to actually put in the dosage
3. Past prescriptions and re-prescribe but also open visit
4. Dose Calculator - I still find this the best features in Best Practice I have ever seen
5. Finally you can access MIMS in 4 different places!
