Did this today. There was no room for a crow bar with my lilac bushes there, and i bent my small one trying .
Doing it over again would have opened up the joint between the slabs first with the chisel. I only removed the dirt and rocks from the joint prior to using the foam. But it bound up immediately at the joint then raised up more when I started chiseling.
Second, I would have used a bottle jack and a C clamp to lift it. I realized I could turn the c clamp in an s shape by turning it around and grinding off the set pin holding it on, but I broke my dumpster find car jack by that point.
- Then use the spray foam to hold it in position. However u can see in the video it lifted the slab very well especially from the holes 6 inches away from the edge. (I didn't want to drill any closer to the edge than that)
