Markazi Jamia Masjid is One of the oldest mosques in Rawalpindi city.
The mosque was built in 1903, just outside the old city of Rawalpindi. Located between old houses on Jamia Street.The building has been decorated with elaborate tile work in the style of traditional Mughal architecture.
The mosque's attractiveness is further enhanced by the artwork, which is composed of bold and elegant mosaic.
The mosque includes three domes and a total of 12 different-sized minarets.
Verses from the Holy Quran and Ahadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) are displayed on the walls .
The Jamia Masjid is a representation of Pakistani culture and people.
Each year, a sizable number of tourists visit the mosque.
