Sample of the zoom and video footage from the Coolpix B500 at 1080 ( FHD ) . Taken in Ocean Beach San Diego no tripod resting on the ledge of a bench . Happy with this camera. Has easy to use features. This was set to Auto. Zoom focus was not to slow and at 40x zoom optical pixcture was still pretty clear for a cloudy day. I give camera 4.5 out of 5 stars considering its price and competitors in the price range.
