Here is coverage of the last ever formation flypast of the iconic Avro Vulcan bomber, and the world famous Red Arrows aerobatic display team.

This was shot on the Saturday of the 2015 Southport Airshow, and was both a very happy and sad occasion both at the same time.

Both these two aircraft types did their full displays after this historic flypast, thrilling the large airshow crowd; the Vulcan display in particular turned out to be the last truly great display of the aircraft, with the following displays being lesser affairs, and the very final flight of the jet being shrouded in controversy.

However, here is a touch of magic to end what has been a rather tragic 2015 display season in the UK, with the Shoreham Airshow crash a few weeks ago still fresh in everyone's minds.
