Fish Veterinarian Dr Richmond Loh performs surgery on a tumorous mass on the face of a giant gourami. The doctor demonstrates the steps taken to excise the tumour, and also investigates the cause of the tumour. Could it be due to Fish Tuberculosis (due to Mycobacteria), or a cancerous growth? And if it's cancer, is it malignant or benign? Watch till the end to find out.
Update on "Betsy" the giant Gourami coming up in our next video
Special thanks to Veba's Aquariums for allowing us to film in their store.
