Over 500 supporters came together in Manhattan on September 26, 2019 for a night celebrating bringing hope to young cancer patients who were able to preserve their future family options due to help from The Chick Mission.

The inaugural gala in New York to celebrate the first year of the Chick Mission and their commitment to helping newly diagnosed young cancer patients navigate fertility preservation. Founded by a 3x cancer survivor, Amanda Rice.

The Chick Mission is dedicated to supporting young-adult female cancer patients (aged 18 - 40) in navigating just one of many challenges after diagnosis: fertility. The non-profit strives to give any woman a choice regarding her future family, before cancer treatments make decisions for her. The organization’s aims are threefold: facilitate educational conversations, advocate for insurance company mandates that cover fertility preservation for cancer patients, and assist newly diagnosed patients with need-based grants to cover the costs of fertility preservation procedures ahead of life-saving cancer treatment. thechickmission.org
