ORBISONIA, Pa. -- Police said Donald Kane, 82, was hit by a car at the intersection of Ridgley Street and Elliot Street in Orbisonia, Huntingdon County, Thursday. Police said around 1:20 p.m. Miranda Hunsinger, 29, was making a left turn from Elliot Street to Ridgley Street. Kane was crossing Ridgley Street in the crosswalk area when Hunsinger struck Kane with the front end of her car, police said. Police said Kane was flown to Altoona hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries. The Orbisonia Rockhill Fire Department and Rich Parks towing assisted at the scene.
