Everyone thinks you need expensive cameras to shoot and video a good sunrise, but it's not true, most smartphones that can shoot video at a quality of 1080p are perfect for capturing a sunrise video intro. (by the way that is like all phones in the last 6 years), you will probably find that your smartphone can capture the video at a higher resolution than 1080p already. Don't be persuaded to shoot the video at a higher resolution in the beginning as it will take up a lot of space on your smartphone, and this may limit your ability to get the other shots you need to create your video.
