Just another set of chain slings in for inspection from the field…we do this every day!

These slings show weathering, with the Gunnebo GBK grip-latch hooks and blue chain faded and showing some rusting, but that doesn't necessarily mean they need to be pulled from service — these Grade 100, alloy steel lifting slings are [tougher than] nails. 😉

So long as there is no deformation, no significant wear or material loss, all identifying marks and Working Load Limits (WLL’s) are readable, the slings pass the 2x proof test, and all other inspection parameters are met, they should be good to go. Their paint and/or powder coat finishes are just superficial.
