Welcome Flip Clock Fans
The General Electric Model 8113 actually appeared in the Coen Brothers' movie Hail, Caesar!, in 2016, with a cast that included
Josh Brolin, and George Clooney. The clock appeared about 4 times.
Hail, Caesar! is set in the 1950s so this clock is way out of place - since it was marketed in 1970.
The clock does have 50s styling though with it's wooden cabinet and brass feet, but tends to be out of place with many other brightly colored plastic clocks of the decade of the flip clock - the 1970s.
The clock can still be bought online for a reasonable price, and is one of the few US flip clocks that appears in a movie.
