After leaving the gorgeous Cougar Creek Rec Site just up an inlet from Nootka Sound, I headed back in an eastern direction for a 4 night stay at the Ralph River Campground in Strathcona Provincial Park. What a beautiful campground! And only $20 a night.
Every spot here is good, but some are great. Most are surrounded by bush and old growth trees, some being hundreds of years old. I stayed in site 21, but also noticed sites 60-70~ish were great too. If I went back here, I would happily stay in site 21 again.
There's a ton of site seeing to do here. Short 100m long hikes, up to crazy mountaineering adventures that will get your heart pumping.
What an awesome place.
