The SA Municipal Workers Union is seeking legal advice after the City of Johannesburg terminated contracts of over 100 employees. Most of the affected employees are those whose contracts were converted from fixed-term to permanent contracts. The City, however, recently declared the conversion of the contracts as irregular.
