We believe and demand equal opportunities, and we expect to be given the same responsibilities as everybody else.
We believe disability is a natural part of being human, and we work to remove barriers that keep us from living full and meaningful lives.
We believe the issues facing people with disabilities are sociological, political, cultural, and economic, and we choose to fight those battles to change society.
We believe employment should be the first and preferred outcome for all persons with disabilities.
We believe when we live in our own home, we will live longer, be healthier, be happier, and it will save the taxpayer money.
We believe it should be just as easy to get services in our own homes as it is to get them in a nursing home or another institutional setting.
We believe all public transportation should be fully accessible and as affordable as possible.
We believe all youth with disabilities should be prepared to live a full, productive, and independent life by the time they graduate high school.
We believe accessibility is not only the law, but an important key to making our communities better places for everybody.
