Tourists in Bangkok reacted with a mix of concern and stoicism to the deadly bomb blast that killed at least 18 people in the Thai capital on Monday.
Newlyweds Holger and Nina Siegle, from Stuttgart in Germany, didn't witness the blast, but were alerted by a friend's text.
The couple said they had not anticipated that their Thai honeymoon would be rocked by violence.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Creese, from Tunbridge Wells in England, said he wasn't thinking of cutting short his holiday, despite the deadly explosion.
Bangkok is one of the world's most popular tourists destinations, even though Monday's attack is one in a string of violent incidents - including bomb blasts - that rocked the Thai capital in the last few years.
