Ingredients :
Bhog ki khichdi:
Rice - 1 cup (Gobindo bhog rice or kalijeera rice)
Moong Dal - 1 cup
Water - 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1.5 tsp
Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
Clarified butter(ghee) - 1 tbsp (let it heat)
Cauliflower
Potato
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Bay leaf - 1
Dry red chilli - 2
Dry red chilli - 2
Cardamom - 2
Clove - 2-3
Slit green chilli - 2-3
Tomato - 2
Ginger paste - 2 tsp
Fresh grated coconut - 3-4 tbsp
Add veggies as per your choice (carrot,cabbage,green beans, peas)
Hot water as required
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Clarified butter(ghee) -1-2 tbsp
Bengali Tomato Chutney :
Oil - 1-2 tbsp
Panch phoron - 1 tsp
Dry red chilli - 2
Tomato - 4-5
Little salt 1/2 tsp or less
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Jaggery (grated) - 1 cup or according to taste
Cashewnut - optional
Labra (mixed veg):
Add 2-3 tbsp mustard oil(let it heat)
Add panch phoron - 1 tsp
Dry red chilli -1
Bay leaf -1
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Fry all for few sec, then add:
Add veggies
Potato
Cauliflower
Carrot
Radish
Frozen peas - 1 small bowl
Drumsticks
Green beans
Brinjal
Tindora(kundru)
Flat beans
Raw banana
Cabbage
Spinach
Salt to taste
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1.5 tsp
Fresh grated coconut - 3-4 tbsp
Tomato - 1 big
Green chilli - 2-3
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Clarified butter (ghee)- 1 tbsp
Beguni(Brinal pakoda):
Sliced brinjal
Gram flour - 1/2cup
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Onion seeds (kalonji) - 1/2 tsp
Fresh garated coconut - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Baking soda - 1 pinch
Ginger paste - 1 tsp
Water to make batter
Oil for frying
