Like all parasitic entities the narcissist psychopath needs a host to feed from.
Cult leader narcopaths have learned a feeding strategy that scales: multiple sources of fuel supply that can be entrained to find and coerce new sources of supply through coercion and recruitment into the cult (narcissistic feeding hive).
Like an advanced alien AI they “convert” the initiates into being both “prey” and “predator” - it’s brilliant in its evil genius.
The initiate, brain washed out of their agency feels a micro-elation that mirrors but is not the same as the leaders full authentic narcissistic elation.
“We have brought a new member to the flock, to enlightenment, to salvation” yields an elation through a sense of purpose that masks the true intent of the cult: sacrifice of the “blood” (narcissistic supply, time, attention, adulation) to the Moloch God of the narcissist psychopaths if leaders “false self”. Part of this false self when outsourced and multiplied becomes the top tier initiates of the cult. They are now extensions of his will, part of the “body” of the parasite feeding from the “Holy Host” of human beings who largely join cults simply to feel a sense of belonging, family and purpose.
Good and worthy human needs.
Perverted to the darkest ends: to feed an insatiable monster, addicted to power and control.
Awakening to this nightmare means dealing with intense feelings of guilt and shame for 1. Becoming like the leader and 2. For unwittingly feeding the beast fresh victims.
It takes great strength and courage to break free from these trauma bonds.
We can do it.
And we must.
