In March 2022 I walked from Fethiye to Kabak along the Lycian Way. It was my first solo multi-day hike and my first solo hike outside of England. This is also the first time I attempted to film one of my adventures!

Walk info:
Kayakoy village to Ovacik - 8mi ( with detours )
Ovacik to Faralya - 9mi ( along official trail )
Faralya to Kabak Beach - 8mi ( with detours )
Trail condition:
The trail starts excellently marked but the condition deteriorates as you continue along. It is easy to get lost so its best to bring a GPS and a paper map.
Android app used for navigation: TrekRight: Lycian Way
Dangers:
Scree on sloped bits just after Ovacik towards Faralya was a bit tricky to navigate.
It did snow a bit on the high parts but none of it stuck around.
Accommodation:
I went off season and I was the only guest at most places that I stayed in. Prices ranged from £10 to £50 per night.
Food & Water:
I carried most of my food with me - snacks and chocolates plus a tin of sorts per day. There was an open restaurant in Ovacik so I cheated a bit. There is also a small grocery shop in Kabak but they don't have much beyond snacks, water and tissues.
I use a Water2Go filter bottle and I was able to refill along the way. I bought additional bottles of water from the shops when possible.
What went wrong:
Not much aside from my boots - heavy waterproof boots were an overkill and I ended up with quite a few blisters.
